from 2 to 8 p.m., in honor of their 40th wedding anniversary. The couple was married on June 13, 1927 in Hagerstown, Md. Mrs. McCollum is the former- Mae Watson and Mr. McCollum is employed at Leduc Greenhouse, Danville.

They arc members of St. James Lutheran Church, Turbotville. The McCollums are the parents of four children, Mrs. John G. Strouse, Mrs.

Ray M. Cupp, Guy Marvin McCollum and R. Wendell McCollum, all of Turbotville. They also have eight grandchildren. WE Mitzvah, David, was presented the Ner Tamid Scouting award by Rabbi Intrator.

The Ner Tamid Scouting award involves an understanding of the Scout Law, A Scout is Reverent. David holds the rank of "First Class Scout in Troop 307, sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church, Sunbury. On Friday night, following the services, an Oneg ShabbSt was held in Davids honor by his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Apfelbaum, Sunbury.

At the conclusion of the Bar Mitzvah service, a luncheon was held at the Elks Club in his honor. Earl Holdren Williamsport, were married in the Williamsport Seventh-D a Adventist Church at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 28. The Rev. H. R. Kehney performed the ceremony before an altar of white gladioli, chrysanthemums and palms.

Traditional wedding music was furnished by Miss Maxine Bair. Pastor H. C. Reading, Philadelphia, sang The Wedding Prayer and Delores Wagner, Millville, The Sweetest Story Ever Told The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of white silk organza over tissue taffeta fashioned with a high empire waist, straight skirt, fitted bodice of Alencon lace, scoop neckline and length sleeves. A cluster of silk organza roses and seed pearls held her silk illusion veil.

She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and babys breath. Miss Revertta Wesner, of Ta-koma Park, Maryland, was maid of honor. She was attired in a floor length gown of lime green chiffon over tissue taffeta styled with' a high empire waist trimmed with light blue satin. A cluster of small blue roses held her circle veil. She carried a bouquet of lime green carnations with a blue satin bow.

Best man was Mr. George Wettlauffer Westport. Serving as ushers were Mr. David Bremmer, Bloomsburg, brother of the( bride and Mr. Dennis Wettauffer, Westport, cousin of the groom.

The brides mother chose to wear a blue three piece ensemble with white accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds. Mother of the groom selected a moss green print tlress with white accessories and a corsage' of white carnations. A reception for approximately 150 guests was held-. the social room of the church school with Ruth Wagner, Nancy Corbin and Sharon Good serving as aides. Following a wedding trip to the New England States the couple will reside at 181 Maryland Avenue, Braddock Heights, Maryland.

The bride is a graduate of Blue -Mt. Academy, Hamburg and the New England Memorial Hospital School of Nursing-. She is presently employed at the Washington Sanitarium and Hospital, Takoma Park, Maryland. The groom graduated from Blue Mt. Academy, Hamburg and the Williamsport Community College.

He is currently serving with, the U. Army stationed at Fort Detrick, Maryland. Entertaining in honor of the bride were Mrs. Marcia Gonzalez, Washington, D.C. and Mrs wmmamam as FRIDAY TIL 9 P.M.
